The Kaamatan Festival (Harvest Festival)
The Kadazan-Dusun community, the largest indigenous ethnic group in Sabah, comes together to give thanks for the abundant harvest and show gratitude to the rice spirit, “Bambaazon.”

This vibrant festival spans two days and is packed with traditional rituals, captivating cultural performances, thrilling sports competitions, dazzling beauty pageants, and much more. It’s a joyous occasion that showcases the rich traditions and customs of the Kadazan-Dusun people while celebrating the blessings of nature.
